LOW-BACK PAIN

Back pain is a common phenomenon among adults that causes great difficulty in their daily lives. Depending on the problem you have, exercise can reduce or eliminate the pain.

Research shows that almost 80% of the population will experience back pain at some point in their lives. Usually the first time pain occurs is between the ages of 30-50. However, as you get older the chances of experiencing back pain increase. The most common causes of back pain are from injury or from a disease, such as overuse (doing the same movements over and over), accidents (falling), degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. Another very important cause is a sedentary lifestyle. Another research paper in the journal Applied Ergonomics found that there is an association between a sedentary lifestyle and chronic low back pain.
